The Rainbow House Children's Resource Center (Rainbow House CRC) is an organization devoted to reducing the occurrence of child abuse and to assisting the victims. Throughout Houston County, Rainbow House coordinates community efforts in child abuse education, advocacy, treatment, family support, prevention, and training. The house itself is a child-friendly facility where children feel more comfortable talking about their situation.

November 28, 2017 is GA Gives Day and Rainbow House needs your help!

Ga Gives Day is a day dedicated to online giving to your favorite cause throughout the state of Georgia.   To give to Rainbow House through GA Gives Day, please go online to www.gagives.org, type in the name Rainbow House Children’s Resource Center and on the right hand side of the page is the Donate now button.  You do not have to wait until November 28th to give, you can go online today and give.

Rainbow House Children’s Resource Center has been serving Houston County, Georgia, since 1986.  We offer advocacy services to child victims and their family, as well as services to prevent abuse from occurring. Our Child Advocacy Center clients are referred to us by the Department of Family and Children Services or the Juvenile Division of Houston County Sheriffs Office after an allegation of child maltreatment has been reported. We offer a safe, family friendly environment for children ages 4-17 to be interviewed regarding their alleged abuse and to seek treatment for that abuse.   At the same time, our prevention programs offer a variety of services to help facilitate the development of healthy families.  We offer child abuse prevention training, parenting classes and parent support, through programs such as First Steps and Healthy Families.

Here is how your generous donation can help:

$10        Provides a new mother with a First Steps visit and packet of information
$15        Provides 1 hour of advocacy services for a child and their family
